Importance of Diabetes Education & Awareness

Before I became diabetic, I was not aware of the signs (symptoms) of Type 2 diabetes.

In addition, I was not aware of how many people developed diabetes. And, I was not aware of how serious a disease that diabetes was. 

And, after I became diabetic, I was not aware of the community services and educational resources that were available for people with diabetes.

So, you see, being aware is very important when it comes to this disease. And, being educated about this disease is also very important.

Ironically, today, we provide education and awareness services to help other diabetics cope with this disease.
